mattross1313
Look good Dan, I might be getting some of these in a month or so. How much did you pay dude?
wizurd
80 quid which i didn't think was too bad. didn't really look around though so don't know if they can be had for cheaper or not. Happy with the quality of these though, just see how well they last now
shire350Z
Swapped mine out for these before wales, good quality! Just means you've got to spend alot under the bonnet now so you can keep using them!!! That was my excuse anyway
wizurd
excellent excuse lol gotta polish the plenum tomorrow if I get time then looking at hoses and other things to tidy the engine bay up. I can see how this gets so addictive!
Jp606
Been looking at these recently. Do they open the bonnet more than the stock holder? As that doesn't give you much room to do anything under the bonnet. Also what are they like to fit? Do you need to drill holes etc? Gudzy
My circuit sport dampers hold it up by the same amount. No drilling or cutting needed, really easy to do yourself.

wizurd
yep like Gudzy said. same opening as the standard bonnet stay no drilling to fit just uses existing holes.
spursmaddave
The open the bonnet just slightly lower than the strut... Just took these pics for Steve (Humpy) as he has bought mine
wizurd
just been out to check mine. not sure why but they open the bonnet about 3/4 of an inch higher than the normal bonnet strut
cs2000
just been out to check mine. not sure why but they open the bonnet about 3/4 of an inch higher than the normal bonnet strut Good, ive always thought the OEM strut doesn't open the bonnet anywhere near enough, could easily go another 1-2 inches. I do like those gas dampers, will be getting some soon
SteveRS
Been looking at these recently. Do they open the bonnet more than the stock holder? As that doesn't give you much room to do anything under the bonnet. Also what are they like to fit? Do you need to drill holes etc? I have a set fitted to my own zed and my bonnet lifts about 1 inch higher than normal. Very simple to fit and no drilling required.
Dayy
That looks really smart. Might have to get some fitted myself. I've been meaning to have a little tinker under the bonnet for a while now to get it all clean and looking nice. These will go a long way to helping that.
