Nhmusicman
Here's a good one..... Noticed it with the top down, but having now listened to it close up, it seems that something inside my exhaust buzzes when you rev it..... Sounds odd but I can't describe it any better really!?! It sounds like its coming from in the exhaust pipe itself. Any ideas what it could be? Nick

Ridz
Probably a loose baffle
Nhmusicman
Here is a video of the annoying buzz! https://vimeo.com/66751663 …and if it is a loose baffle, is it possible to "tighten it" again, or fix it? Thanks, Edited May 22, 2013 by Nhmusicman
Ebized
Rear heat shield vibrating?
Nhmusicman
I don't think it is the rear heat shield as it seems tight and putting pressure on it doesn't change the noise. It seems to be coming from the rear box more than the shield.
Nhmusicman
Kwik fit said it needed new mid and rear sections, but halfords put it on ramp and showed us a relatively new mid section! Removed the heat shield (what's it for anyway??) and it's a little better, still slight buzz when dropping revs though....
Nhmusicman
Well the problem has been diagnosed! Any suggestions for a replacement mid and rear system? Want a nice sporty tone..... For around £600?
