LiamR
ok some **** put this nice dent on my pride and joy and I need it fixing, question is does it look like an easy fix or a full panel replacment/respray job? I live in Lancaster btw so need to find somewhere quite close for the repair if poss. Also please forgive the state of the alloys, they are in a bad state but I'm onto that soon as I fix this dent! Thanks in advance Edited May 17, 2013 by LiamR
DoogyRev
Sorry to hear this Best thing to do is go see some body shops. A good one should be able to pull the dent out, but may require some filler and spraying. I would also for the price of a new wing, at least then you will know the cost of both options
modd1uk
Yeah its not a new panel job, somebody will pull it, fill it and paint it. If you find a good bodyshop around lancaster do let me know as i'm want my bumper/bonnet spraying.
LiamR
If its just spraying theres a good place in kirby lonsdale I'll take it to, I think they might have a bodyshop aswell but just wanted to get some feedback here first. FYI modd1uk they were gonna respay/fix my alloys at £65 a corner- considering the work they'll have to do its worth a look for your respay. I'll try find their number tomorrow and let you know mate. LiamR
http://smartalloylancaster.co.uk/ these guys have an alloy repair service (obviously) but also have a bodywork/spay shed of the other side of the village- might be worth a trip down modd1uk. numbers on the website :-)
ZMANALEX
Quite an easy fix. Bumper will have to come off and it should also just spring back into shape. Total of 6 hours panel and 4 hours paint should fix this. Alex.
LiamR
Thanks for the advice, any idea (ballpark) how much a job like this would cost me?
