I find it strange to have to pay extra for insurance on items that are excluded from valuation in the event of a claim (regardless of the extra "risk" factor that +10hp delivers)! crazy... I completely agree! They offered me an option at about £25 to cover the declared modifications, but this only covered them up to £500 or 10% if the value of the vehicle, whichever is lower!
