modd1uk
On my cars previous MOT it says " washer jets weak " it was done at a kia garage so i'm thinking maybe they just don't know what they are talking about with regards to the 350z or maybe they are weak. They just sort of put water onto the top of the wipers and the wipers spread it, is this normal ?
Stutopia
When I got mine I thought it was normal to just sort of splash out on the front blades, then I read a thread on here about changing the non-return valve. They're about 3 quid on ebay, so I figured nothing to lose. I now have a strong healthy jet which soaks passersby. Have a search for it, might help. DoogyRev
Your washer jets should spray the wash fluid all over the frikin bonnet So as Stu says search for the non-return valve thread or could be just blocked pipe or motor
modd1uk
Ah cheers folks, il have a search around as i do remember reading something about that valve. Are they all work off one pump, windscreen washers, headlight washers, rear washers ? Headlight washers are powerful enough its just the windscreen washers that sort of dribble out. 14N
I asked a similar question last year and sorted it by changing the non return valve. Here's my post including a pic of the part you're looking for http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/63671-cleaning-screen-washer-jets/page__hl__+return%20+valve#entry943996
Tackleberry
I had the same issue. Actually just removed the valve entirely and it works fine for the purposes of the MOT.
Dave J
If the wipers and washers clear the screen I'd be having words with the tester especially if he tried to fail me!

14N
No problem. Don't worry too much if the non return valve you find looks nothing like the one in the pic. The one I replaced mine with was a small black one.

modd1uk
Picked one up today, still the same, even drilled the old one out. Wondering if this is how they are meant to be....i'l have to see if there's another local 350z for me to look at unless somebody fancies looking like a weirdo and making a video for me lol.
