twobears
Is anyone from Weybridge or nearby? I am keen to know what it is like as a place to live/work/shop etc. Thanks to anyone who can help
smudgedon
Very small but nice place. About 20mins train journey from central London and 5mins drive from the M25 Not much in terms of nightlife is the only downside Edited May 10, 2013 by smudgedon
twobears
Thanks smudgeon The nightlife is probably better than it is here since there are only 6 houses in the entire hamlet
JetSet
The only thing I know about Weybridge is that it was the setting for H.G Wells "War of The Worlds" . Pete
SteveRS
Really nice place, one of the more expensive areas around here. Right next door to the exclusive St George's Hill. Nice bars and restaurants etc.
coldel
Only been there for meetings with GSK who have a 'facility' by the station
Wasso
I used to work in Weybridge, and its a very nice place. You can't go far wrong with the area. St George's estate is super nice but you have to be mega rich to live there. Here's some info. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/the-exclusive-gated-community-in-weybridge-where-alexander-perepilichnyy-lost-his-life-8360449.html Some nice bars, but as smudge has said no clubbing, cos he's still young I once saw Cliff Richard in WH Smith who lives in the St George's estate. A very wealthy and nice place to live.
