Recommended Posts

Looking for blue interior LED bulbs. Tried the search but all previous links were to places that dont stock blue (autobulbs etc).

There is some on fleabay...but would prefer to buy better quality.

Any links appreciated.

There are plenty of quality bulbs on eBay if you know what you're looking at. These for the dome light?

For instance, you cant go wrong with SMD based LED's such as these. UK seller too and a similar price to the ones from China and the build quality looks good http://www.ebay.co.u...=item4abf4dc4e7

no shame at all in buying things like this off of ebay and paying 1/10th of the price for a quality product :)

Not those exact ones mate no, the same thing design wise (and from a different seller) but white.

I spent a while finding good quality ones that fit right, you can get ones with 30+ LED's but they don't fit inside the dome light cluster, never mind in the actual holder things.

Those fit perfectly fine in the standard hole with no mods necessary. The fade out effect also still works brilliantly, cant go wrong for that price, ive hasd them fitted since pretty much I got the car a few months ago with no issues. I do normally buy a few more as spares however and in-case 1 does go pop you always have a spare.

Just be careful putting them in as the rear of the LED's is normally conductive and you can short out the connection which you wouldn't want to do obviously.

If you want to do the sun visors too, those are 29mm festoons, the space here is almost impossible, however these fit perfectly http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/WHITE-Festoon-29mm-Fuse-bulb-3-SMD-LED-Sun-Visor-Vanity-Mirror-Light-6614F-6641-/200816106015?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2ec1929a1f, anything larger and you wont stand a chance.

Wondering if its possible to just stick some electrical tape on the back of the LED some festoons to avoid the potential short.

Yeah, sun visors would be awesome as the light is a bit weak and the missus does use hers a lot
