Existing problems with O2 sensor, advise needed.

Hi guys,

 

I'm looking for some advise as I'm having some issues with my rear O2 sensor bank 1. To cut a long story short I have added a pair of simulators and then had to replace the sensor, about 2/3 days later I then had a problem with the rev counter when I started the engine as it kept flickering between 1000-1500. I got the ecu reset today and I got about half a mile when the engine came back on. I let the car cool down and started up the engine to listen to the engine and I could hear again a faint popping noise from the exhaust with rev counter slightly flickering. I have driven the car and the power is there although when I hit about 3/4000 rpm it suddenly kicks in like a turbo lag. so I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas as I'm going to take it back to garage but this has been an on going issue that I really want to resolve. Before I take it in I was just wondering if anyone has experienced the same problems?
