wayniebear
Hi people. Just bought an import Z. Well pleased with it. The only thing is the stereo. Its an ECLIPSE AVN 9903 HD and its set to Japanese. Any of you lot know how to set it to english? Have done a search through the web and didnt find much. Ta Wayne.
M13KYF
to the forum wayne Can't help ya with that one. You may end up ripping it out altogether and getting a uk unit. There is a couple of Bose units on ebay at the mo if you choose to go the OEM route.

M13KYF
found this link but you which has specs and what looks like some kind of manual, but you need to be able to read Japanese o rget it converted. http://www.fujitsu-ten.co.jp/english/co ... 2/22-1.pdf
Zzzz...
In my limited "Englinese".It's more about the development and the features it contains. But no detail explanation of setting changes... Looks a very impressive unit! I only know a few words in Japanese, and I would have to see them to see if I could figure them out and maybe change the settings, but in my past experience of Japan units, they will not have English settings... but if you can find a similar version for US the menus could be in the same position on the display so just follow the sequence and ignore the text... have a look in here... http://www.eclipse-web.com/download/manual/index2.html but the specs of non Japan items tend to be lower spec, lower tech units ... good luck! (and if you give up and put it for sale on ebay let us (me!) know...)
wayniebear
Well thats odd! are you guys saying you cant read that link? Is it in Jap or something? Cos its all in perfect english on my comp. must have translator program loaded. And it is more of a sales brochure tho than a user manual type thing. but nice find tho, thanks. As you say it is a very impressive unit with cd,dvd dolby digital 5.1 and dts (in a car? whats the point?), mp3, memstick, dual hard drives, sat nav touch screen.i can look at all these strange jap cities from space! What the hell am i gonna do with that? Whats it worth ? Anyone want it?
