DaddyCee
Hi. I'm keen to find out if there are any do's or dont's for cleaning my 350Z which is a Roadster with a pressure washer. I am concerned that the fabric roof could be damaged if not done correctly. Any advice will be gratefully received. Many Thanks, DC.

14N
That's why I got a coupe - just incase I ever forgot
dErZ
I use my Nilfsk with a snow foam on my roadster all the time. The roof has been treated so the fabric has a beading affect akin to waxing your body work. I dont get too close to the fabric with the nossle as Im sure it would damage it very quickly. Just stand back and use the spray to clean the top.
ioneabee
I wouldn't have thought it wise to use the pressure nozzle on the roof - just run the hose under normal pressure over it
bronzee
I have used our Stihl water blaster on roadsters before, but having said that we had 2 nozzles especially made as wasn't happy with the stock one. Take it very gently.
DaddyCee
all very good advice that I will heed. Still need to find the time to give this a blast (not literally). I take it blasting the RAYS alloys will be fine as long as I stand well back?
BulletMagnet
I never point my pressure washer towards the car unless it has a snow foam lance attached. For rinsing I always use a hose with spray gun on watering can setting to create sheeting water.
Will370z
I would have it on a light setting for the roof just in case, not worth the risk
