Harryjax
Why did I come across this. I'm flying next week on holiday. Can't believe there is no reaction from the car cam driver but if you listen I think he runs over a dog. http://youtu.be/icfVsql38oc
RS8055
The dog is in the car with him. I think there's no reaction because he is in the forces... looks like he's driving a Hummer H1. Crazy stuff though... looks like the pilot hit a head wind and stalled (possibly the plane was over-loaded with weight)
Paddy78
That's horrible, is that a passenger or cargo plane?
glrnet
Apparently it was caused by cargo shift, they were transporting vehicles and general cargo, horrible.
marzman
I've watched a lot of air crashes online, but that is probably the most chilling one i've ever seen. It literally just dropped out of the sky.

stubzie83
It was a civilian freighter charted by the military to transport military equipment out of Afghanistan. The pilots have to do steep climb outs and approaches from Bagram air base to prevent themselves become targets at low altitude. As was said looks like the cargo shifted backwards, changing the centre of gravity of an already steeply climbing aircraft and pushing the nose up further and causing a deep stall that they couldn't recover from at that altitude.
Beavis
Boeing 747-400 too!! http://avherald.com/h?article=46183bb4 http://www.airliners.net/aviation-forums/general_aviation/read.main/5750623/

mattross1313
This really is a frightening clip!! As said above I've had the odd YouTube explore as plane wrecks but this is another level - watched this vid with no-one around and still swore out loud when it happened, awful!! shire350Z
just Imagine what the pilot started to think as the plane started to dive!! The load master really screwed his job up! Terrible news but at least there were only a handful of people on board
Mack
Looks like a full stall with a wing drop (the early stage of a spin) with the aircraft remaining stalled all the way to the ground. It could be one of many things, or a combination of factors. I've heard rumours the aircraft was carrying vehicles which may have broken free and rolled back during climb out. Such an aft centre of gravity would make the aircraft unflyable. From friends who fly the 747 care has to be taken balancing the aircraft, by pumping fuel between the main tanks and tanks in the tail to keep the centre of gravity within limits. Another cause could be crew disorientation. The "black boxes" (which are actually day glow orange) should reveal the cause. Once they have entered the stall the only way to recover is to reduce the angle of attack, (the angle between the wing and the airflow) by pitching the nose down until the angle of attack is reduced and the aircraft will start flying again. Sometimes reducing thrust is the only way to get the nose down, this is because the engines are mounted below the wing, applying thrust causes the nose to pitch up. Ether way in this case, once the aircraft had entered the full stall I think the altitude would be insufficient to complete a recovery.
