Jetpilot
Hi guys and girls. Is there any way to tell if my recent purchase has already been mapped? A buddy of mine came to check the car out as is he familiar with Zeds and he made particular note of it feeling more punchy that most he had driven. Thanks in advance
S1 HNK
Which models had he driven, that could explain the difference. Good question about the remap, I'm sure abbey Motorsport would be able to tell you. Not sure how though
Jetpilot
Pretty much all of them I guess the only way of telling is by plugging it in somewhere, i just wondered if there would be some form of sticker on the ecu
KyleR
Rolling at slow speed tap the loud pedal, if the car moves instantly it's been mapped, if there is 1/4 second delay it's most likely stock
The Bounty Bar Kid
PM me and I'll tell you an easier way. Just requires you to turn on the engine.

Toon Chris
Why PM? Can't you say here?
HaydnH
If it's a revision that can have multimaps then you could tell that way (assuming someone else can remember which steering wheel buttons to press to switch maps). If it's not then then 1-3rd might be a guide (is it smooth or responsive). Also there's only a few places you can get it done and they're all responsible enough to have the reg on file. Dblock
Why PM? Can't you say here? You can put the car in valet mode or have it not start at all if you would like it to.
The Bounty Bar Kid
Why PM? Can't you say here? Because I don't want a prospective thief knowing how to take my car out of valet mode and then being able to drive away the easy way.
