sloutrou
Hi all, Just about to have a look at some Rays for sale to replace my factory standard alloys, is the 18x8jj correct and is this what it should be for all four wheels? Want to make 100% sure I'm buying a good set. Thanks Jez

sloutrou
Thanks for the info all Is there something written on the wheels themselves that I will need to check, I'm concerned that someone might be selling four front or four rears. ZMANALEX
It is all stamped on the inside face. Alex.
sloutrou
Brilliant, cheers Alex. I've wanted Rays since I've owned the car so want to be sure, and they're selling for £300 for the set
sloutrou
No luck I had a look at the inside face of every wheel, all four were stamped front so I've not bought them. I don't know how much of a genuine difference this makes and whether I've missed a good deal or not?
Fluke
What difference would it make, can't you just fit spacers anyway?
sloutrou
I honestly don't know what/how much of a difference it would have made, I guess I wanted to feel like I was buying a true set and not just a set of fronts. I don't know a lot about tyre sizes and offsets etc. They've gone now, which I kind of expected given the price, so my quest continues... HaydnH
Rays come up for sale pretty often, just keep an eye on the for sale forum.
Fluke
Does it make a difference having 8.0 front and rear?
4RE Leather
There is a bolt on the disk to prevent you putting the rears on the fronts Plus you can see by placing a front and rear side by side on the ground. The fronts are noticably not so deep as the rears.
Fluke
Are the wheels the same size, but the tyres different?
peteman35
As other people have said before. Front 18x8jj +30 225/45 tyre Rear 18x8.5jj +33 245/45 tyre
