ATTAK Z
Got peed off with unsolicited Emails today so this guy got an answer he maybe didn't expect From: Darren Date: 26/4/2013 14:51 Subject: On A happy note Good Afternoon I hope you are all well? All week we have all been working hard so I thought why not add a little fun to the end of our week!! I have attached a small 10 question quiz to give us all a small break from our day to day routine. please feel free to reply with your answers to the quiz. Anyone getting 100% will be entered into our prize draw to win a mystery prize. Let’s hope this sunshine stays for our weekend!!! Have a great weekend!! Thanks & Kind Regards Darren so I sent an unsolicited reply to Darren - Hi Darren Thanks for your kind wishes and hopes. Unfortunately, I feel it is my duty to inform you that my health is not very good. I was diagnosed with Cancer last year and I'm basically just waiting to die. I'm clinging on to my job in the expectation that my dependants will receive mega amounts of money when I die at my desk (I'm fortunately in the *** Pension Fund which will pay out 3 times my salary following my death providing I manage to keep attending the workplace). You will no doubt be pleased to hear that I am not in much pain ... I regard it more as slight discomfort rather than searing pain, also the fact that I really enjoy my job makes everything so much easier. I'm afraid I shall not be joining in your quiz due to the fact that I have much more important things to do such as making my will; however you could tempt me if you would let me know what the mystery prize is ... maybe a trip to Disney World with my lovely granddaughter whose eighth birthday I doubt I shall ever see. Many thanks for your wishes regarding the weekend. My plans include testing the electric wheelchair I have been offered by the Mobility people and one final walk around the village with my dog to say goodbye to both my friends. On a lighter note, I have looked at your website and discovered that there is nothing there that really tempts me. In conclusion I would request that you stop sending me unsolicited Emails and that you leave me alone with my friends and family to face a quiet end to my life. Kindest regards Hugh ******* BSc (Hons) __________________________________________________________________________________________________________
JetSet
52 Messages in my Spam box today (so far), usual rubbish, payday loans, PPI claims, Injury claims, Nigerian Scam, etc. About 20 messages got through my spam filter as well of which 18 are spam. Just hardened up to it now. At least the half a dozen unsolicited phone calls I was getting every day have stopped since I fitted a call blocker. Dblock
I hate people who end emails with their academic titles. Self conscious and egotistical or what.
The Bounty Bar Kid
I hate it when I get adverts put in places I don't want. Eg flyers on my car, after I've detailed her and then it rains and turns to mush. Rang up one guy and gave him a right ear full. Had just had my previous car valeted. £50 and then an hour later, rain +flyer = paper marche. The other day I rang up a company who keep sticking stickers on our work windows advertising their emergency replacement shop windows. He got an ear full too but the git on the phone said OK thank you have a good day little girl as we ended the call so I swore back at him in anger. Hate them all! The Bounty Bar Kid
OK thank you have a good day little girl This is how everyone will now answer your posts from now on! Especially SMD! Do that and I will use my very specific skill set that I've learned over the years, to hunt you down. Then with some homemade toys, I will do a variety of sexual acts to you, none of which you'll enjoy.

Fodder
Oh and I get hardly any spam email both at home and work. What I do get are the phone calls from "windows technical department" which I sometimes play along with. Oh and I also get calls regarding PPI on my work number...... That's always fun answering with the company name

Agree with Dblock too about academic titles. Chris`I (MSc (Dist), BSc (Hons), A-level, GCSE, GNVQ, Keyskills 3)

My willy is bigger than yours and so is my engine! Wait a minute, its the same size. OK, mine is much faster than yours! They don't call me a 5 second guy for nothing. Wait a minute, I'm never with my car when they call me that.

Flex
I think at times it's useful to have your main qualification after your name I.e my accountancy body, useful for my clients to see that! Failing that I don't think its bragging if you've worked hard for something why not have it on display?

When you're communicating from your workplace (which Hugh was) then it's actually the correct thing to do. Pete
