ianphampton
I received an email today where the Morgan Car Co is auctioning off a load of cherished numbers it had - http://www.dvlaauction.co.uk/index.php/live-auction/72-2/ There looks like there's some real star numbers in here if anyone is interested

JetSet
Some great ones there. I'm wondering if the new registration scheme and the fact that so many of them can be made to look like names has had an effect on the value of old style plates. As long ago as the late 1960's registration numbers that included a 1 and were fairly random for example 1 YRW or TSC 1 fetched in excess of a grand, there used to be one around here TON 1 on a hairdressers Ferrari that fetched 10 grand in the mid 1960's. (owner was a hairdresser, not the car ) Pete
