And moaning about the 'noise'... what is he on about edit: the 350z bit is from the start till about 9minutes in http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kFEA1n-Ggy4 Edited April 21, 2013 by Mikesding
rtbiscuit
As V6 engines go, I found the zed engine note lacking. When you compare it to the likes of the Alfa V6 Its just a bit...meh! Yes you can fancy it up with a new exhaust etc and it does change the note, but I still find it a bit....meh! Its a good engine, just not the best note. But as always this is just personal taste. Mopedmark
Vichy Butler Henderson loved the Z as much as anything she had ever driven on Fifth Gear and I must admit she's a damn sight better looking than Jezzerbellend Clarkfart

Stutopia
Clarkson is a professional bellend. By that I mean he's paid to be the Clarkson character. It's how he earns his crust. Fair play to him he's made a mint out of it. I'm sure he'd be alright to have a pint with and shoot the breeze but all the nutcasery and "offensive" remarks he ejaculates from his mouth in public are simply geared around pushing the Clarkson character, and it works for him and his no doubt massive country pile and fleet of nice motors. He'll be spunking off about the noise of another car in another clip or another episode.

rtbiscuit
I want to find FG interesting, but I just don't. With all the ingredients they have it should be a winning show. But do you know what, I don't care about the latest fiat pinto. Etc etc.

The Bounty Bar Kid
The show is a show, the magazine is the real car enthusiast deal... Nissan 350Z - 'Top Gear Magazine Car Of The Year' 2004 Published 7 March 2004MAC Nissan 350Z has been awarded the illustrious title of Car of Year’ in the 2004 Top Gear Magazine awards. The team of road testers from the magazine, all put their heads together to establish their overall favourite, and the winner was .... the 350Z. The award itself will be presented to Nissan by Jeremy Clarkson and editor Michael Harvey in London on 9 March. Top Gear Magazine commented: "From the moment you sit in the driver’s seat, the Z feels like something special. It has the right shape, the right noise, the right pace, the right poise. All at the right price. The Nissan 350Z deserves its place as our car of the year". Bill Bosley, Managing Director of Nissan Motor (GB) Limited said: "When you consider the vast amount of quality that have entered the fray over the last 12 months, to win ‘Car of Year’ is a fantastic testament to the 350Z. It was always designed to be a true, no compromise sports car, emulating the original thought process of the legendary 240Z back in the early 70s. This award is further proof that we have achieved our objectives." Since its launch, back in October 2003, the 350Z has been consistently collecting awards and praise from all areas of the media from the Association of Scottish Motoring Writers’ ‘Sporting Car of the Year’ to Boys Toys magazine ‘Car of the Year’. The entry price tag is £24,000, however 90% of customers are opting to include the GT pack for a further £2500, which provides heated / electric operated leather-covered seats, BOSE stereo system and cruise control. When the order book was first opened in March 03 the quota for the year (450 units) was sold out in only 58 minutes. Since then demand has continued to be strong with orders now being taken for mid-year delivery. So if anyone wishes to experience the award winning 350Z for themselves, they need to plan ahead.
