Pingu2
well I had some new parts fitted friday/monday and went out for a drive early this morning (6am - got up specially for it - how keen is that!?). Kinetix V+, Kinetix high-flow cats, Nismo exhaust - first impression is that it's LOUD! .. below 2500rpm no change in volume really, between 2500 and 3200 or so its quite raspy and then the sound really does get good as you push on. There dont seem to be any rattles or whistles or anything, so I trust the garage have done a decent install. The performance low down seems to me to be improved, certainly it is easier to drive smoothly under 2500rpm than ever before (seems more responsive too at lowish rpm) - hard to be objective about it though. Pretty happy with it all, will see if that's the case once I do a long motorway journey.. Also had EBC pads and goodridge stainless lines fitted (and motul fluid) - too early to say how I feel about these as they obviously need bedding in for a few hundred miles. Reckon they will do the job though!

jonathan73
Would you mind me asking if you got a good deal Pingu? Roughly how much for all that lot?
Pingu2
imported the exhaust/cats/plenum from USA (lee parts for exhaust, kinetix themselves for cats/plenum).. the brake pads and lines and fluid I bought from the traders on here I have posted info already on the price of the exhaust. I think the kinetix were an OK deal too - the exchange rate is soooo favourable at the moment.. will try and get some pics sorted for you although I'm not sure there's much to see!
