sunshine
As you can see i've made abit of a howler soourcing a secondhand lower control arm. Apart from the forging number look at the difference in spotface height above the balljoint taper. This causes not enough thread from the balljoint from the upright to go through the taper and put a split pin in. Taking a few crude measurements im pretty sure the arms are identical apart from this. Now my plan is to take in into work on monday and re-machine the spotface identical to the old arm. Just wondering if anyone can confirm the balljoint tapers are the same? I can only measure across the top and bottom and they seem the same but I cant measure accuratly at home. The Chubby Ninja
is it me or is the one on the right longer?
DoogyRev
is it me or is the one on the right longer? +1 Looks like that to me
BulletMagnet
The one on the right would look longer, but that's prolly an optical illusion. Look below, both are the same size
The Chubby Ninja
I see what you mean as the one on the right does look bigger in your example
