JetSet
I've only owned 16 cars since 1969...and I did at least 10-12k every year until 2003. You obviously get the itch that I used to get as I had 7 cars from 1969-72...and then I got married Pete

bronzee
Don't think about the depreciation. It's too scary. Mind if your changing that frequently it would be less.

Ekona
14 cars in 8 years is fine. The fact only two of them (Zed and 123d) have been any good is the disturbing thing. VXT to Hyundai coupe 1.6 must've been a bit of a culture shock!
Pete87
All I can say is with that many New cars in that short amount of time I want you job, the amount of money you must have spent on cars in the last eight years.
NeilMH
Probably not. 39 in 40 years (first 5 cost £165 in all!). Most of them were bought for peanuts out of boredom. Many should not be mentioned in polite company. Many so called "good deals" weren't ... in fact only about 6 of them were. Only a couple were new. Mikesding
that's quite a lot Favourites are the 350 (obv), 123d and the Z4 - but after reading your other thread, maybe not this Z4 Edited April 19, 2013 by Mikesding

brillomaster
yep that is a pretty shocking list, especially the repeat offense of astras and corsas - even one of them is one too many You need a clear progression of cost, power and purpose, in my 4 years of driving I've had: 1995 Pug 306 1.4 2001 Pug 306 1.8 1999 Mazda MX5 1.8 1995 BMW 328i (first track car) 1990 Nissan 300ZX TT 2000 Honda Civic 1.6 (in its defence, it was a 8000rpm screaming VTEC) 2003 Nissan 350Z 1996 BMW 328i (second track car)

stuarty
that's quite a lot Favourites are the 350 (obv), 123d and the Z4 - but after reading your other thread, maybe not this Z4 My Z4 is great mate, it's the dealer thats the problem. All it needed was the bumper painted and tracking checked, thats it! Bumper wasn't even that bad, i just wanted it to the same standard as the rest of my car!
