MidnightRacer
For such an iconic colour I'm surprised to find that no one has yet done a midnight Purple II (or III) 350z. please do prove me wrong, I'd love to see the outcome! Its something that keeps spinning around in my mind from time to time but research says it wouldnt be a cheap job with the paint being pretty specialist and expensive. Is it really just too much money and hassle for a 350z? I wondered what your thoughts are? are there any better colours to do if its going to be different or would MPII be the way forward? Cheers Kev

Ian
Its a pretty expensive paint to buy I was quoted £300 just to paint some engine covers in MP2 and the covers were already stripped and prepped

Ian
Is this midnight purple? That would look quality on a 350Z.... but how expensive is "expensive"? Last time I checked it was around £500 a litre (Base coat & top coat)
MidnightRacer
Its on par with nissan mystic green. That was 640 quid a litre at the time although third parties did eventually get the mix and the price came down.
kershaw-350z
i belive i have seen some in pics but they have all been form the states.. and all have been mnp1 or 2 not even sure weather that r34 isactoualy mnp3 tho as i didnt think it had a flip in it i thought it was more of a realy dark purple with a black pearl.. pearl paints are going to be alot more than standard metalic or gloss as the normaly require alot more coats and generaly an extra two clear coats on top top give the desired effect
