Prepared all week for a nice drive from Manchester to Surrey for a wedding.

Wheels washed and sealed last week.

Car washed and waxed mid week.

Interior done yesterday along with a final wash.

7am I topped up screenwash.

Checked coolant and all.....all good.

Last check tyres.

One valve hisses as soon as dust cap is removed:-(

Had to set off early so had to abandon zed for our mini.

No MP3 capabilities.

No DAB.

No power.

Puny seats.

Grrrrrr.

Suppose it was better than losing pressure on the motorway and getting a blowout!

I should've got the tyre valves on my LMGT4s changed with the tyres 2 yrs ago.

That'll teach me to be vain wanting to keep their original metal valves (now 6 yrs old)

I was watching the tyre fitter change the tyres on my Volks a few weeks back, and he took a standard valve off the shelf, unscrewed the inner portion, and screwed it into the internals of my metal valves... so you might be able to do that.
