Catman364
Hi all Today I started the process of removing my BOSE HU to refit with a Sony CTX-GT55OUI. Ive bought all necessary adapters plus the lead to keep the steering controls. When I wired it in to test, the sound was only coming out of some of the speakers (sounded like the 2 door speakers) and also the sub. The volume was very quiet on all of these though! I'm not too hot with wirings etc so does anyone have any ideas? Ive seen similar problems in other topics i.e no sound but there is definitely sound, just very quiet..... Ive only ever swapped the head unit in my old Civic before and that was as straightforward as plugging in the wiring harness! Any help would be very much appreciated

Catman364
Sounds like you need a inline booster dude, checked the pinned thread in ICE section Sounds like it could be that! However, the link is dead and I can only seem to find the line booster in the US. Does anyone know where I can get one of these in the UK? Time for the RCA splice routine Could be! Do you have any further info on this?! Thanks in advance!
