Jay
Evening chaps, I need a little bit of advice. I am currently looking at getting new tyres for my 370z and I have been offered a set of Toyo T1R : 245/40/19 T1R @ £139 each 275/35/19 T1R @ £156 each So not a bad price at all. Has anyone has any experience with them at all? Your opinions would be greatly appreciated. Jay
DoogyRev
I had Toyo's on all my MX's, different car I know, but I found them very good in all conditions I think they may wear out quicker on the Zed as its a heavier car, but at that price . . . who cares
rtbiscuit
Soft sidewalls. I didn't like them,
marzman
Thats a great price Jay, i'd be tempted to give them a go at least at that price.
AliveBoy
I had some on an A4 I had. Absolutely great tyres, but they are a very soft compound (Part of the reason they are so good) so did wear down quite quickly.
ZMANALEX
Jay, I ran T1Rs on the 350 when they still made them in 18" sizes and had no complaints. And always used them in the wet at Knockhill. Remember that they are phasing out T1Rs so you may have a problem getting matching tyres in the future. Alex.
S1 HNK
Have them on mine and again no complaints
Vlad
Have them on mine, and used only them on my last 3 cars - no complaints, good in any weather! Especially felt the difference when I just bought my 350 and it had some crap tires on...a bit of rain and even doing 10mph, around round about, without accelerating- car was just full on sliding! Luke0549
I'm looking at these for my 17s. You say they're phasing them out, what are they being replaced with ?

ewan221
I had them on TVR and were very good , not sure how they will be on a much heavier car though with the sift sidewalls
ZMANALEX
These also work well however no 45 profile available at the moment: http://www.toyo.co.uk/tire/pattern/proxes-r1r Alex.
