Vlad
Searched, incl other forums, but just got confused lol Do you need to remove bumper to remove rear indicators(full assembly, not just bulb)? Or just take brake lights off and then squeeze your hand down and "push" it out? How is it attached to the bumper? Clips on each side or screws/bolts? Thanks
Wasso
I'm dead sure they screw into the bumper. You should see the screw holes on the bumper nearest on this pic. Edited March 25, 2013 by Wasso
Vlad
Damn it... thats the answer I didnt want ahahah Thought it might be a quick job removing them lol Thanks for the info/pics
Wasso
Just remember that when you take the bumper off that you don't close the boot as your boot release stays with the bumper. You can always use the manual opener under the strut but just be aware etc.
Vlad
oh thats a good advice! Thanks
marzman
I've read that you can man handle them out from underneath the car, if you can unscrew them from the top first. Never managed this myself though, but i would try again this way as it's a pain in the arse to get the rear bumper off.
Vlad
Is there any space from the top to unscrew them? I know there is enough space to change bulb, but what about fitting a screw driver/socket?
cs2000
I doubt there's enough room from the top. There's just about enough to get the bulb out!
narcotix
I removed my indicators when I cleared the rear fog light .. You'll need to drop the rear bumper slightly to get enough access to remove them ... I followed this guide: http://www.350z-tech.com/wiki/index.php?title=Rear_Bumper_Removal
