DanBoy
Hey All, I've just had a Plenum Spacer fitted and also had a silencer box fitted into my Borla exhaust system to solve a hissing problem. It's now developed another problem so when I depress the clutch it will rev itself to 1500 rpm until I am at a complete stop, which it will then drop back down to 1000 rpm. Very confused and frustrated. Is this something to do with the spacer? Thanks in advance Dan Edited March 21, 2013 by DanBoy
rwdstu
Possibly an intake leak drawing in air. ? Is it using more fuel also?
DanBoy
No it doesn't seem to be using any more fuel than usual, the revving is the only thing that seems out of place
Dave-350
This happened on my E36 once, it was the camshaft position sensor... I would say its probably a sensor issue though. Hope someone with more experiece can help. Edited March 21, 2013 by Dave-
