Jo3ly
Finally finished my daytime running light project! Made these up from scratch with a set of clear reflectors, some LED strips and a few wires/relays Sorry for all the pics! New reflectors and the LED strips little dremel hole cut in one end and LEDs slid in and secured test run on the bench both made, sealed and ready to fit making the loom finished loom bumper off - didnnt have to do this but made it so much easier... new wiring run in with standard loom reflectors in ignition on sidelights on (no change) headlights on (50% dim) no lights sidelights on (no change) headlights on (50% dim) Im really happy with them, what do you think??

AliveBoy
Well, you must be some sort of genius to do that! Awesome work, really well made and love the dimming to 50%, thats what makes a good mod, so good that you can't tell it was home brew

ph 7
They look fantastic, truly professional. So the big question is: When will you be making and selling them as kits?

KyleR
I might be up for a kit with orange LEDs or orange reflectors if it doesn't shin through white
Madhatter
Awesome Cheeky I know but do you have a wiring schema to do the diming and alike? What did you tap into in the end for the power?
Jo3ly
They look fantastic, truly professional. So the big question is: When will you be making and selling them as kits? haha i hadnt really thought about making kits up really. It wasnt the cheapest mod as i had to buy the clear facelift reflectors, the wiring/relay/fuse parts, a switch, the LED's, plus all the wires and trunking for the installation... i have flush fitted a cut off switch under the bonnet by the brake fluid reservior as well which is pretty cool. will get a pic up of that later... Jo3ly
Awesome Cheeky I know but do you have a wiring schema to do the diming and alike? What did you tap into in the end for the power? no i dont have any wiring diagrams as did it all as i went along im afraid. I grabbed a power feed from the back of the radio and ran the cable back up past the fuse box and ABS unit. Not what i wanted to do but couldnt find an ignition live under the bonnet
cs2000
Like it! im workjing on some but doing the drilling from the back-side of the reflectors insted of cracking them open. Mine will be controlable however they wont dim with the headlights. Looks good though mate

morgs
Best I've seen, don't usually like these conversions as the LEDS look too 'blocky' to me. Impressive work behind the scenes as well.

BulletMagnet
Shame the preface lift reflectors are flatter than the facelift ones. Good job
Pete87
They look really good, I also don't normally like these on the 350z
Paddy78
Nice job , I'd love to try this, but fear it would be nowhere near as good... plus I'd end up ruining the ridiculously expensive facelift clear reflectors!

spursmaddave
Those look nice, you should go into production... Just an obvious observation, they would not look anywhere near as good on a pre-facelift car as the reflectors point outwards not front
