jumping350
This may not go to plan but worth a try anyone feel free to add some tips So had a load of fibre glass and stuff left over from my rear bumper project and i dont really want to dismantle my tablet to get it to fit in the z plus when i do how do i use it in the scooby then. Most tablet holders seem to be like the sat nav holder and i dont like them, plus it cant go where you want it to My only option was to make my own in car holder which i can fabricate points/size etc to mount and run the wiring from the tablet to head unit whilst maintaining an oemish look Will go in the glove box in the scooby and a mount will come out of the cup holder bit im thinking in the zed final holder will be plastidipped to a smooth finish Heres where i started, cut out a template the size of the tablet Cut out relevant holes Made sure the tablet actually fitted!!! couple of layers of fibreglass to hold everything in shape (not as easy as it sounds) Next up tommorow some sanding and filling Edited March 12, 2013 by jumping350
