OsakaBen
What have you vortech guys replaced your cone filters with? (If you've had too) Mines beyond cleaning and it's got things living in it. Apparently a KnN filter will do the job, anyone have any suggestions? Searched the American forums without success.
The Chubby Ninja
Things living in it lol. I havent even got mine yet but im planning on getting a few pipes and joins and making it into a cold air feed. I think any filter with a 3" hole would be fine in my case but if you keep it in the standard place your limited by size restrictions

The Chubby Ninja
I think most induction kit makers will do filters with a 3 inch hole. I think its 3" but id double check before ordering. What about a popcharger? Or is it a different size? Edited March 12, 2013 by The Chubby Ninja

wizard
From my linked post above: K&N RX 4140 fits perfectly (3 1/2inch or 90mm) and works very well. Good luck getting this filter, I don't think they produce it anymore. I tried every dealer under the sun and k&n themselves. Everyone said it was out of stock and didn't know when it would be back in stock. Ended up getting the standard vortech one (8H040-035). Around a $100 shipped. GT4 Zed
I have a new vortech filter and a slightly used one for sale soon. Also have the upgrade stainless steel oil feed fitting into the V2 supercharger to replace the brass fitting which is prone to cracking with catastrophic results. I'll put up some pics soon.
