Harryjax Posted March 9, 2013 Share Posted March 9, 2013 Had a go at a little project on my son's friends Honda civic type S. the plastic headlight lens were misted and oxidised quite badly. I'm rather pleased with the result. Only used wet & dry some cutting compound and a little elbow grease. Before pictures: After pictures: I think it would have been easier with a electric buffer. Moved to 1400grit wet and used cutting compound with the 1400grit together. And lastly a fine polishing paste on cloth until my arm ached. Let polish haze and dry then buff with a clean cloth. A few said use start with 1500, then 2000, then 2500 followed by machine polish with a cutting compound. What are your thoughts on that guys? Like I said I only used 1500 wet & dry then polish up with a machine polisher & a not very harsh polish.
