Mike 350z Posted March 5, 2013 Share Posted March 5, 2013 Hi all Had my zed a few month now it's an 07 350 with 41k on the clock Last few weeks I have had a horrible chatter/rattle when 1) changing gear (more noticeable at lower speeds) 2) if I accelerate quite hard in a gear then take my foot off the accelerator This isn't your usual noisy transmission this is a very noticeable noise I'm pretty sure it's not engine related as it revs up freely with no noise at a stand still and there is no effect on engine/car performance My initial thought is the clutch release bearing? But maybe someone else can give me a better idea. ZMANALEX Posted March 5, 2013 Share Posted March 5, 2013 May be gearbox or more likely flywheel issues. Best to get a professional diagnoses before you splash the cash on parts. I will have all parts in stock to fix your issues so just give me a shout when you have an informed diagnoses and I will be happy to provide you with a quotation.
