letank87 Posted April 26, 2007 Share Posted April 26, 2007 I had the same problem, it took me two attempts too! I ended up getting myself a long breaker bar to get the caliper bolts off. I must admit, the design is pretty poor IMO from a servicability point of view. Having a brake tube go into the back of the caliper does make it awkward to remove the caliper from around the disc, but it does move sufficiently out the way if you unbolt the tube brackets. Just make sure you support the weight of the caliper once you have unbolted it. A bit of string tied to the top of the suspension member should do the trick! Good luck!
