Ewan27
When I got my Z I cleared out my garage so I could park it in there, never bothered with my other cars. I live in a nice part of a shitey town and was concerned about anyone walking past and thinking there's a nice car, lets do something "funny" to it. MrsNiki
I live in a rough area and only have on street parking but have never had any issues, my neighbours know the car and keep an eye on it for me. Being a glass half full kinda girl i don't think anything will happen, positive thinking!! Negative thinking just invites trouble and causes too much stress! Also i think the kids round here must think i'm the local dealer... It is the nicest car around....

samsniss350z
I live at the top of a pretty steep hill and it has become habit to leave mine in first gear along with the handbrake. At the weekend our new neighbour parked his car in front of mine (thank god) and a couple of hours later had a knock on his door from an irate householder a few doors down who found my neighbours car buried in the back of his, this was after mounting the kerb and taking out a tree. We have yet to find out the cost of repairs and its a shame i didn't get photo's.
rabbitstew
When you have a totally mint unmarked car I find I get paranoid as to where I park it. At work its parked in a secure locked underground carpark, and the person who parks next to me is always careful not to get too close to my car. At home, its parked on my drive about 1 foot from my front door. And if we go out anywhere at the weekend, 9 times out of 10 I will take the wifes car to avoid parking mine somewhere where it could get marked. Sure, its not a lambo or a 100k car, but its still very valuable to me and with the amount of care i take to make sure it looks immaculate, the last thing I want is some chav scratching it or denting it in Asda carpark. JetSet
I live at the top of a pretty steep hill and it has become habit to leave mine in first gear along with the handbrake. We have yet to find out the cost of repairs and its a shame i didn't get photo's. Before our road became a cul de sac I used to park up on the drive which is almost flat. One morning I woke up to find my car straddling and completely blocking the lane outside, it had moved about 30 feet. Thinking that there had been an unsuccessful attempt to steal it I dashed out to find it was still locked and in fact I had left the handbrake off, it was a tad windy so a strong gust must have got it rolling. Luckily the lane had almost zero traffic back then. Actually, it's always a good idea to leave it in gear. Some years ago during a very cold winter my mate with a steep drive living on a main road had his handbrake cable snap in the middle of the night (he had an old mini-van) and his car rolled right across the road hitting a neighbours wall. 4RE Leather
I tend to park it where it stops. 4 wheels on the ground preferably. Get out and lock it. Hope that helps? This is another candid camera post isn't it?

slaver
People have always keyed nice cars, even when I was a kid, I remember my Dad going ballistic when somebody keyed his car...Mindless, Moron, Fu**k Wits...complete Scum, people who do that...!!! Lets hope for their sake I never catch them at it..!!! We never really had decent cars when i was younger, so it wasnt really a problem. Although one time someone popped the window and nicked the cassette deck out my dads mk3 escort and he had to drive around with a black bag as a window for weeks! If people target this, they will target anything. Beige exterior/brown interior. Sweet...
