DoubleU
Hi, Have owned my 350z just over a year, but just joined the club. Want to go to Japfest and have signed up. Got a 2004 UK GT in silver with black leather interior and custom 350z gearstick. Had 53k when got it, now done 66k. Have fitted stainless steel Longlife exhaust. Lovely car. Think it belonged to a former member as the other day when I was cleaning the back window the light caught it at the right angle and I could make out the outline of a 350z uk car sticker that used to be on there! I'm in the Bristol area and want a reliable mechanic who knows Zs, maybe a Nissan specialist. My local guy is great and looked after my last car (Alfa Romeo 156 2.5 V6) but it's a general garage and I'm interested in getting power upgrades and that sort of stuff so i want someone who knows their 350z onions. Plus, I need an annual service and the Nissan dealer tells me it's £500 for the one I should have. Is this essential? Any help appreciated. Cheers. Lexx
If you car has been serviced annually since 2004 your service should be a P1 (minor). 2005 - P1 2006 - P2 2007 - P1 2008 - P3 (this is the expensive one) 2009 - P1 2010 - P2 2011 - P1 2012 - P3 2013 - P1

I missed the P3 in 2012, just had a standard annual service at my local garage. Oil, filters etc. The Nissan dealer said I need a service
Lexx
There's actually next to feck all difference between a P2 and P3. But as said above, if your plugs haven't been changed, then get that done. I don't know of any reliable independants down your way. Someone may be along to help with that shortly.

spursmaddave
£500 even for a P3 including plugs is expensive. Get the plugs from that might save you a bit
samsniss350z
there is a link to nissan dealers somewhere on this site with customer satisfaction and some are not good at all. depending on where you live i'd be inclined to go to Abbey motorsport or Horsham.
