Ceejay29
Hi, I am going to carry out a full P3 service tomorrow and hopefully install some bolt-ons. I have a plenum spacer, K&N CAI kit and de-cats to fit. Is there much point fitting the de-cats without fitting a Y-Pipe? I was going to hold out and purchase a Y-Pipe and fit both at the same time, although I am becoming rather impatient and may go ahead and fit the de-cats alone. What do you guys think? Thanks
MITZ@CougarStore
No issues with fitting just the decats, see how they sound with the stock Y and then later add an aftermarket Y...
Ceejay29
Ok thanks Cougar, I will fit the decats too Edited March 1, 2013 by Ceejay29
AliveBoy
I have decats on mine and don't have an aftermarket y pipe. Haven't had any issues and it doesn't sound like it makes too much of a difference, obviously mild steel sounds a bit less exotic than stainless, otherwise its great Edit: Just realised its for a 370! Not sure if it makes a massive difference, so maybe ignore me! Edited March 1, 2013 by Dedman
