Kev946 Posted April 19, 2007 Share Posted April 19, 2007 The OC will have to join in with the 350Z-uk meets at some point in the future, as from what I understand, they are already struggling for numbers at their meets and having to cancel. IMHO as the 350z as a used car becomes more available to the masses, i.e. cheaper, these new owners will not be interested in a Club you have to pay for when then can come here. So effectively the OC's time is limited. I'm sure they realise this which is why they are so paranoid and ban mentioning this club. My prediction is the OC will die within 2 years. Hopefully although this thread is fairly ugly to have on the forum, it may help people see a way forward that will help all 350Z owners. Guest prescience Posted April 19, 2007 Share Posted April 19, 2007 There are some good people in the upper echelons of the OC but they are in denial ... denial about who has the most Zs at a meet, denial about who has the most Zs in a roadgoing convoy, denial about this club's growing popularity both at meets and in posting, heck denial about even this club's existence, denial about their diminishing paid up membership, denial about their diminishing popularity both at meets and in posting, denial about BMWs, denial that there is any car better than the Z anywhere, denial about people they disagree with, you name it they're in denial about it It will change though, it has to (doesn't it?)
