Sam Mcgoo
I'm running DW 600cc. Fine for my power levels. (442fwhp) Previously I was on stock injectors running 380fwhp without issue but they would have been flat-out at WOT. Just a word of caution - If it were me, I would get all your 'new' ebay injectors flow tested before fitment. I can't see the tolerances being that great for that money. Saving a couple hundred quid on the injectors sounds good but if you get one fail or one cylinder running lean, you'll be spending thoudands before you even know it . And...Welcome to the club.
350zlew
Ive gone for a eaton m90 which we are customising the inlet manifold to fit.. as its a roots style charger like the stillen.. spoken to a few specialists in the uk and they have said theres no reason why it wouldnt work like a stillen charger its just obviously cheaper to acquire :-) Have a list of parts to get most of which i already have.... just got to find out how much of a bulge is going to have to go in the bonnet after fitting... hmmmm! I know cheaper isnt always better but the charger is being fully rebuilt and teflon coated so it wont be a shabby job as its been a long time in progress and we have had lots of info from different specialists :-) Will post pics when i have some.. :-D
350zlew
And thanks mate i will definatly get them tested before hand :-)
350zlew
Probably gonna get slated for using an eaton haha but the last thing id want to do is damage the car so ive done my research :-) If it doesnt work then i have learnt thats why i joined the forum... for some advice! evilscorp
Sounds interesting will you try and mount it to the lower intake manifold or will you try something with the lower plenum to mount on? At least it will sound better than the centrifugal type charger not sure about hp wise tho? Gd luck and welcome
350zlew
Haha it is buddy... its more of a project tbh :-) Whats happening is we are getting the top half of the inlet manifold remade out of billett aliminum to fit the charger on top... so once done it should all just bolt on top :-) Performance wise alot of guys recon it can easily make 400bhp with the right pulley and uprated fuel system... gonna take some figuring out but ill keep posting progress pictures and any problems we come across! Bit of a learning curve hahaha! :-D
Tarmac@TarmacSportz
Welcome buddy Good that you have researched, Hope those injectors are ok. I have a fair few SC parts in stock plus lots of others available, feel free to contact me. Bear in mind some things are cheap for a reason, sometimes it's cheaper in the long run to by well established brands, your going to need reliable parts on a supercharger build.
