Shaun1982
I'm sure there's probably the answer I require within search response but searching on tapatalk seems absolutely pointless! Everything but what I'm looking for. My interior light is currently turned off as it has a mind of its own when its on doors, Dave put blue bulbs in, only one of which works. Even manually pushing the light unit on etc it only works when it chooses to so my first option is to try new bulbs. Do I need canbus LED's or will normal LED's be fine? Wouldn't mind changing sidelights & number plate lights to LED's while I'm at it too. Will they need canbus? eBay gives both when searching for 350z LEDs etc
spursmaddave
Try autobulbs, if you pm a mod there used to be a 10% off code too
Shaun1982
Cheers Dave. I did ask on another thread if the auto bulbs site prices were per bulb or pairs as I couldn't find it stating which lol
Shaun1982
I'd guess this is per bulb http://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/501-Long-19-LED-Extreme-Power-2W.html
spursmaddave
I got my interior ones and exterior number plate bulbs, also headlight and rear and indicators all from them and still going strong 2 years later You can get cheaper on eBay I'm sure but I prefer decent ones that last
Shaun1982
Are number plate bulbs festoons like the interior light or the same as sidelights bulbs? Some of the eBay ones say festoon but when I searched the ABD site it brings up W5W bulbs
spursmaddave
Mine are just sidelight bulbs i'm sure mate although you can pretty much use whatever you like as long as they are blade ones I think

WhackyWill
Auto Bulbs are not the cheapest, but they last..
FUG
Auto Bulbs are not the cheapest, but they last.. They don't sell you the correct front indicator bulbs either if you were considering upgrading them too , just to warn you
Shaun1982
I'll just stick silver bulbs in there I think. Can't be arsed with the incorrect flashing issue with the LED indicators Cheers chaps
spursmaddave
I got silvatec indicators and ultra bright 501s all round, yes the autobulbs site shows the wrong type of bulbs if you use their 'guide'
Shaun1982
I find it annoying that each time you have to put the car details in again after you look something & want to go back to the table of bulbs for your car
Shaun1982
So to confirm I could buy enough of something like these to do sides, plate & interior bulbs yeah? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/300848965605?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 Edited February 18, 2013 by Shaun1982

FUG
Correct Although your interior dome lights you need a 31mm festoon type led bulb Edited February 20, 2013 by FUG

cs2000
If it helps anyone at all, Sidelights, numberplate lights and side indicators are all W5W bulbs, these dont need to be the CANBUS special ones but at the same time it doesnt hurt iof they are. The interior dome lights are 31mm festoon bulbs and the lights behind the sun visors are 29mm festoons (these are hard to find in LED variaty, had to order mine from the USA). All of the above on my Zed are LED. The visors is a little OTT, its difficut to actually use the mirrir as the LED is so bright!
Shaun1982
Glad I've not bought any yet then. Post above my last says 41mm festoons lol
jell36
Correct Although your interior dome lights you need a 42mm festoon type led bulb If it helps anyone at all, Sidelights, numberplate lights and side indicators are all W5W bulbs, these dont need to be the CANBUS special ones but at the same time it doesnt hurt iof they are. So is it a 42mm or 31mm Festoon buld that is required for the interior dome light?
FUG
sorry yes 31mm festoon, edited that! was looking at my watch list on ebay and had some 42mm ones on there for some reason  i went with blue festoon lights http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/59886-blue-festoon-dome-light-bulbs-anyone/page__hl__%22dome+light%22 be careful on the type you get as you dont want to bridge the gap between connectors and short the circuit can be a costly job, few threads on the forum about it
cs2000
Interior domes (at least for mine, pre facelift) are 31mm. Measured them myself and got them fitted currently
Shaun1982
I've got blue ones in mine, currently only one works, and when it feels like it so they need to be straight out the door!
Shaun1982
Right I've ebay'ed them in the end lol. Ordered 2 31mm 4smd festoons in white & 4 w5w 12smd bulbs for sides & plate. All 1 year warranty & less than £10 in total I think
