Ultra Ever Dry

Looked into that stuff recently. Sadly it doesn't last very long right now, however I'm very excited for what it could mean in the future if they can perfect it.

Imagine car paint made of that stuff. You'd never wash a car again! Other non-automotive uses would be kitchen worktops, bathrooms, waste pipes (they'd never block!), spectacles... The list is endless really.

Amazing......

quick google helps the understanding

The video was posted by UltraTech, a Florida-based company that specialises in spill containment products.

In just two months it has received more than one million views online. The company claim that Ultra-Ever Dry will protect in temperatures ranging from -30F to 300F but they say abrasion might affect performance.

The coating is pricey, costing $57.95 for the base coat and the top coat is $100.95 a quart. The instruction video recommends users wear goggles and protective gear before applying the coating.

Toilets would be great, taking eco flush one step further :D

This is my exact point, coat the inside of waste pipes/toilets/urinals/traps in that stuff and you would never, ever block it up as it would be 99% impossible to do. Okay, so it'd put me out of business, but I reckon there's a good line in installing waste pipe like that instead.

Cool stuff, like ultra-Scotch Guard. If you sprayed a cat with it, attached buttered toast to its feet and threw it in a bath you've got to be pretty close to a perpetual motion machine. :)

My cat is giving me funny looks now...

Don't be daft, you'll only make antigravity...
