Stu350
Hi folks, I've got a problem with my drivers side window motor. The window gets stuck if you wind it all the way down! 12v is being sent to the window motor at the multi-plug (according to the AA man, and a bloke at a garage ) They both "suspect" that the motor needs replacing. It's weird though, as the window works perfectly at all times apart from when it is fully lowered. Has anybody got any ideas before I fork out for a new motor to check if that's the problem??? Cheers -Stu
Ian
Is it still under warranty? If it is let the dealer sort it. Window motors are not cheap, mine dide shortly after buying the car & Nissan wanted nearly £500 to supply and fit the motor

GC350z
My window stick when fully open. I pull the button and it goes up a fraction before dropping back down. I think the auto-up feature is just crap. To fix it I push the button to open it again (even though it is) and then pull back to close it. Works fine. Can't be assed trying to get it to do the same in front of the dealer. Guy

live2themaxuk
I am now a window motor expert. . . . . . i bought a spare motor off someone on here a while back which i still have as mine was on the way out. . . .but i followed some instructions on the my350z.com website for clearing out carbon deposits from the inside. reassembled the motor and reinstalled, and then have to follow the Nissan bulletin window regulator reset prodecure (which is well easy), and its working like a charm. The straining sound it used to have is all gone, working like the passenger side now, nice and strong. If you want the spare motor PM me Jamie
