So many options if you really want to get on with it..... Cling film doesn't work great. tried that when going for a shower first time. The nurse told me it's crap. BulletMagnet Posted February 7, 2013 Share Posted February 7, 2013 Use those latex gloves that are used for mechanics/detainers, then duct tape the bottom shut (not to the skin tho) Another alternative is to get something called Second Skin, which forms a barrier to keep stuff out. Learn to be ambidextrous, easy enough, if right handed, wash the car with your left, it is possible (try seriously damaging and arm and being in a cast and it's still possible), it might take a bit longer, but then if you're off work, that's not an issue.
