taffyjason
Has anyone used the BMC CDA intake system? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMC-CDA-Induction-Kit-NISSAN-350Z-3-5-V6-/271021146724?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3f1a1e8264 I've tried a search but can't find any postings on this. Shaun1982
I have mate, not a zed though. Bought one for my old fto. Pretty quiet on that until I hit mivec but it seemed pretty good. Being sealed its your best option for cold air. Of course you can't beat some carbon under the bonnet either
taffyjason
hmmm its tempting, just wondered if anyone knew about the quality of the item....im having spacer and MREV 2 lower chamber fitted next week, i have the velocity stack mod fitted already, but might go for the BMC intake too... Shaun1982
I can't tell you how much exactly it made in difference but a decat back exhaust, bmc & an Apexi Neo AFC with an altered map made 219.6bhp from its 200 at the factory
rtbiscuit
I like bmc, their filters are good, I've recently put ram air in my xkr http://ramair-filters.co.uk/ I used their carbon Nero http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-RAMAIR-CARBON-NERO-INDUCTION-AIR-FILTER-UNIVERSAL-FITS-70-90MM-NECKS-/350632935578?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item51a35a009a and been really pleased with the quality. taffyjason
That just might have made my mind up for me, thanks guys
rtbiscuit
Bmc are very good, went with ram air as they were half the price, and tested the ram against bmc with a garage that sells them. He's tried several cheap copies and none could supply enough air flow compared to the bmc, but the ram air is the first that copes equally as well as the bmc.
