Upton
Hey guys, Im new to the forums and recently purchased a 350z. The other night i replaced my air filter with a k&n cone filter, in the process i removed what i believe was the mass air flow sensor. When i started the car back up i had an engine management light :/ Ive tried ignoring it and hoping it would go out. Ive also tried disconnecting the battery fully and reconnecting after 15 mins. Im out of ideas and was hoping someone could offer any advice? Thanks
CrumbMC
Did you put the sensor back on?
Upton
Just to confirm the mafs was only removed whilst i removed the air box and was plugged back in *
Lexx
Look in the Guides section for how to read the error code and how to reset the ecu
FUG
Did you replace the intake tube as well or just the filter element?

choptop
If you are sure the problem is fixed, just disconnect the battery terminals and refit them. This should reset the Malfunction Indicator Lamp. If it comes back on you need to get the error code checked out.
