Dblock
Fair enough. If you want low miles 8k will get you a nice car. If not you could get a higher mile gt car for less. Check the for sale section here if there is any cars that fit you critera Edited January 24, 2013 by Dblock
rtbiscuit
if you plan to do lots to it, then the non GT is a good base to start with, if you plan to keep it pretty standard, then get the GT Edited January 24, 2013 by rtbiscuit

glenn-350
mines a non gt, not really botherd about cruise, the bose system as most will /have said aint brilliant, the cloth seat tend to hold you better, warm in the winter & cool in the summer also weighs less, and as for wheels rays / standard . people always have different views. Rays can be bought for £300/400 nowadays as can leather seats. my priority was condition , mileage. service history. ive already stuck on a set of rays and looking at putting in a double din sat nav, so apart from seats and cruise no real difference i say

HARMLU
First of all I would make sure it's a uk spec and not import. Second of all it depends how important that 1k of money is to you. Personally I would go for a gt pack. But you can have as much fun out of either! On the other hand I would rather a tidy standard uk car than a problem child gt pack, so take some time looking for that dream!
manphibian
If you ever want to be able to sell it. Get a GT.
bronzee
Welcome to the forum. The heated seats are fantastic in the cooler months, especially when you first get in the car they heat up quite quickly. Brembo's are great if you're planning to do any track work. Stutopia
Some good tips, thanks all (yet again). Just trying to fill up my mind tanks before I splash the cash. Next up I'll be looking for the top 5 things to check out on a test drive....
Stutopia
Probably an idiotic noob question but... I see loads of ads, some mention limited slip diff, some don't. My understanding from reading bits on here and other sites is that all UK models come with a LSD. Is this correct or is it a GT spec goody? Watshot
LSD Standard on UK models. Again, GT adds: heated/electric/leather seats, upgraded Bose stereo, cruise control. That's it. Nothing to do with wheels, brakes, colours, engine performance.

VR46
If you have the budget then go for a UK GT spec zed. They offer amazing value for your money
AK350Z
Daily: GT Sunday car: Either. If you just drive for fun a non-GT won't affect the experience one jot.
Stutopia
GT test drive booked, can't disclose any details as two have already been snapped up from eight under my nose, damn snow. Lexx
How many times in one thread can we repeat that Brembos are standard on ALL UK cars.
