dave_c
Hi! Today my 350z boot release has stopped working. When I unlock it with the key fob the boot makes no noise and when I press the boot release button it does nothing. I've pulled the emergency release under the strut bar and that all works, just seems the electric release button is broken.... Is there a fuse for this or anything? Anyone else got any ideas? Sly@Kaizer Motor
Back door lock getting the power from the BCM (Body Control Module) there isn't a dedicated fuse for that, so if only that door doesn't work I suspect a wiring fault or the lock failed. ZMANALEX
Dave, The issue will probably be the boot lock actuator which is connected to the boot lock. Just remove the rear trim and check that the actuator is getting power. Preowned boot locks and actuators are in stock if required. Alex.

MartynB85
Sorry to bump an old thread, but did you find out what the issue was?
N4eay
Again sorry to revive an old thread but as MartynB85 said, did you have a resolution to this, I’m having the same issue, I have to wiggle the button for a while to get the boot to open. Thanks Edited September 21, 2016 by N4eay

Cheers.
