Zed_lover
I want to install After market stereo and keep bose amp system in my 2003 350z, but am not bothered about the steering wheel controls. I have the stereo Pioneer DEH-3400UB: http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_869019_langId_-1_categoryId_165474 I have a PC9-423 / AIS2260 Car ISO Lead for Nissan: http://www.ebay.com.my/itm/PC9-423-Nissan-350z-Car-Stereo-ISO-Wiring-Harness-Lead-/200868249328?pt=UK_In_Car_Technology&hash=item2ec4ae3ef0 I also have a PC9-451 - 4 Channel ISO to RCA Line Output Converter: http://www.ebay.ie/itm/PC9-451-4-Channel-ISO-RCA-Line-Output-Converter-Amplifier-Adaptor-Lead-/251146703300 And i have a PAC AOEM-NIS2: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_7714_PAC-AOEM-NIS2.html I have all the correct Facia Adaptors too, im just not sure now how to make it all work?!? Can someone help! I have tried to connect everything and have sometimes managed to get a really bad quality sound through the speakers and the Sub very distorted, and the volume on the stereo is up full and its not loud at all? This happens when i connect the PC9-423 ISO lead with the with the PC9-451 Line out converter to the stereo and connect the lone RC wire from the PC9-423 ISO lead (blue) to the RC thing on the main stereo?? When i try to do it all with the PAC AOEM-NIS2 then i get no sound at all!? Can anybody please help or show/describe how to do it with all these parts, i know it can be done just dont know how this certain way? Many Thanks to all who help
The Bounty Bar Kid
If you haven't replaced the speakers and sub then I think this is what happens as the Bose system is 8ohm rated and any new bits would be 2/4 ohm rated. So power output would be lower. That is until you replace all the bits.
