RobPhoboS
Hey guys, I have one of these at home (bloody handy actually!): http://www.screwfix.com/p/bosch-ixo-iv-cordless-screwdriver-3-6v/99577 However, I thought it would be nice to be able to undo some bolts with it to save a bit of time here and there . But I'm just wondering what 'bit' or converter I'll need so that I can use my normal socket pieces on it ? I'm sure I can just nip down to a local tool place tomorrow and they'll hopefully have something but I just wondered if there is a converter ? rabbitstew
Depends what size sockets you want to use, i doubt if thats got enough torque for big sockets, so your probably looking at 3/8th sockets. I bought a makita drill bit set a while back, has millions of drill bits in it and actually came with a load of sockets which have the hex extension on which can fit straight in a drill. I guess you`d need hex one end for the drill, then a square 3/8 drive on the other end so you can use your existing sockets.

ChrisS
I see lots of nuts and bolts sitting on under trays. Unless you have magnetic sockets or are very careful.
BulletMagnet
Put a dab of grease on sockets and nuts and bolts stick to socket.....no?
ChrisS
Put a dab of grease on sockets and nuts and bolts stick to socket.....no? works for me, but also depends how fast the driver/drill is. Bugger I can now see them flying all around the workshop.
RobPhoboS
Many thanks chaps, that's perfect. It's really just to save a bit of time here and there, as it does add up. Obviously I'm not intending to do any heavy duty stuff with the poor thing
