Sarnie
Whats the supposed benefit of this? Does it not negate the benefits of mods like the standard one?
lomoto
Whats the supposed benefit of this? Does it not negate the benefits of mods like the standard one? I was hoping it would let the benefits of any tuning mods shine through
Beavis
Why would the ECU be different for right and drive and left hand drive models?
Guest prescience
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Nissan-350z-Nismo-Sports-Resetting-ECU_W0QQitemZ160104512943QQcategoryZ122139QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem is this the one that works just on the JDM models??? Yes I believe it is. There are various packages available all with different ECUs associated. The sports resetting package is just that, it consists of ECU, Nismo plugs, Nismo air filter, Nismo exhaust, Nismo cats and Nismo lightened flywheel. It is claimed to raise the MY03 JDM engine to 300 ps. There is also a higher-rated package (and others), the S2 package, claimed to produce 325ps but even more mods are required. If you consider the cost of the parts mentioned as part of the sports resetting, you can see that the cost will be quite high for a modest gain of 20BHp or so
lomoto
Why would the ECU be different for right and drive and left hand drive models? I think he's got that bit wrong , just works on JDM right hand drive models , not LH euro spec or UK models

Middlehurst would be able to confirm 100% if you were interested in procuring

Removed
it's for JDM cars, that's for sure! don't see any reason why it wouldn't work on a jap car as that's what it's been made for
