martinmac
Thats all the cars off hooning around the lakes. A bit of peace for a few hours and time to set the bar up, arrange seating for 200 people and get the hog roast going.

martinmac
What a great night, I guess the format is getting pretty near to what we need now. Its one of the best weekends I have had so hope the rest of the guys enjoyed it as much. As ever there are so many anecdotes to share but I will let the others kick off first. I would just like to say a massive thanks to Ben and Antonia from the Rose and Crown for their support over the weekend, the same to the committee of the hall for allowing us access and free camping, the band and David Kay for a great nights entertainment, the Spitting Pig Hogroast for some fantastic food, The photographers for their hard work in challenging conditions. But most of all, the members who turned up up and shared in what has been a great weekend for Liz and I. I appreciate some people have traveled a long way to attend and hope the journey has been worth it. The event will be repeated next year although we may have to address the parking issue to fit everyone in. Thanks again and I look forward to seeing you for the full english in the morning and then the judging a little later.
Lexx
Big thanks to Martin for organising this show once again. This years format certainly worked well. Apologies to those I didn't get chance to say bye too when we left early. But hope to see you all soon. The boys seemed to enjoy their first weekend car show (they've already been to two static day ones!). And Sebastian certainly made a new friend in Mandy! Ben and Antonia in the pub were amazing and me and Helen can't thank them enough for helping to accommodate us and the twins. It made our first trip away with them a much easier experience than it could of been. With luck my Z32 will have a sodding MOT next year and will be there! AK350Z
Well that was an excellent weekend messing about in the back yard! I think Martin has the format pretty much dialled now, especially with a decent pub on hand for beers an breakfast. Big thanks to all those who can up here, especially from long distances, it's the people that make it such a good craic. And I guess Liz will have to eat her words now about how a punto can possibly lead a drive out!
Darren-B
Well what a fantastic weekend. I thoroughly enjoyed it even though I did get alot of stick. It was a long trip for me 730miles round trip & 120 mile drive out yesterday, but worth every mile. I regretted not bringing the zed but still had a heck of a blast in the pocket rocket with young Liam yesterday. Thanks Andrew for the advice on the roads : It was great to meet alot of new faces & see all the other cars. I must admit my favourite car was the Black S15 that made a short appearance last night, absolutely stunning. Oh & just to clear up all the talk about me & the bar maid. I only said she had a nice bum, then next thing I hear is that I was trying to get her back to my tent Not me vicar I`m a gentleman

Cannot convey enough thanks to all involved.
