Piggy22
Hi all, I recently changed all of my ARB links because the fronts were knocking and annoying the bugger out of me. Ever since, the front right side has developed a random 'clunking' noise that happens about once every 2 miles and its really annoying. Anyone got any ideas? The links are all fitted correctly although one of the ARB bolts I found to be threaded when checking the mounts on the ARB where it bolts to the body but I couldn't imagine any movement in it as it has gripped but wont tighten and all of the other bolts are torqued up correct Thanks in advance
ZMANALEX
More than likely it may well be the compression rod ball joint or bushing. However best to get it checked out and diagnosed properly. All parts are in stock and good to go same/next day. Alex.
Darren-B
Think you may have answered your own question. They need to be nice & tight or else you will get movement under load. Had the exact same thing on my old mx5
Dblock
I've heard preload can do this too?

Dblock
I've heard preload can do this too? 5k posts!! That means I'm on here far to much! Regarding preload I've read (as I plan to fit adjustable ones after all the poly bushing goes on) You are meant to nip them up when in the air and fully tighten when on ramps or on the ground.
