Ekona
Welcome along! Have a read of the Sticky in the ICE forum, tells you all you need to know about what to buy to keep your steering wheel controls.

Dblock
You might need a patch lead but that will depend on which headunit you get.
bronzee
Welcome. So have you done any mods to your z over the last 6 months?
spursmaddave
as long as you buy a main brand headunit you should be able to keep most of the steering controls except the phone ones Here is the place to check out - http://incartec.co.uk/Manufacturer/Model/Brand/Device/Radio/Browser.aspx
14N
as long as you buy a main brand headunit you should be able to keep most of the steering controls except the phone ones Here is the place to check out - http://incartec.co.u...io/Browser.aspx As SMD says, replacing the head unit with a main brand one AND the associated patch lead maintains most of the steering wheel controls. I changed mine for an Alpine double DIN along with the patch lead and the volume and track selection buttons were not affected, but the phone buttons in the middle of the 2 now act as a 'source' button (i.e. select radio, CD etc). Plenty of useful stuff in the ICE section on this site. Ohand to the forum
